Do you think that parents would be oppose to their children learning about culture diversity? If so, why?

  1. In my opinion, I believe only ignorant parents would be opposed to their children learning about other cultures. I think it is somewhat important for children to know about the 'world' and how other people 'live'. I'm all for it!!!

    1. Some cultures are very strict in allowing the young ones to associate with others. They like their kind to be together. For example; Amish families live in their own little town. They live with no electricity and milk their cows to provide for their day to day meals. Do you think our culture could survive such ways?

  2. I think that most parents would be in favor of a cultural diversity program. There will always be some parents that will oppose it based on their own racist opinions. They won't want their children to learn the positive perspective on the things that they hate.

  3. I think this is where religion will get involved. If parents believe that their religion is the only right religion then they will probably oppose teaching other cultures religions. It is ignorence though, children deserve the chance to choose their own religion after reviewing all the options.
